Kristy is a highly skilled Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist & Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in facial artistry and contouring techniques for full-face rejuvenation. Training alongside world renowned plastic surgeons and other cosmetic industry leaders, Kristy also keeps up with the latest trends and advanced technologies by regularly attending training sessions and medical conferences.
Her skincare career began in 1999 in her native country of Australia, where she worked as an Aesthetician in a leading boutique skincare clinic. Taking her talents abroad, Kristy was then placed in the top spas in London and USA.
When returning to Australia in 2006, Kristy wanted to hone her skills in Aesthetic Lasers and Energy Devices and assisted Sydney’s leading Cosmetic Surgeon Dr John Mahony in injectable treatments. It was during this time that she developed a passion for facial aesthetics.
In 2008 Kristy relocated to Los Angeles, and began a longstanding business partnership with Dr. Alan Szeftel, to launch Ocean Cosmetic Medicine. Working primarily as an aesthetician and helping to build the business, Kristy also graduated from Nursing School in 2014 and then was able to add cosmetic injectable treatments to her unique skill set.
Since becoming a Registered Nurse, Kristy has worked for the esteemed Dermatologist, Harold Lancer, where she regularly treated Hollywood A-Lister clientele. She then decided to concentrate on injectables by joining one of the Top 10 U.S. practices that solely specialize in aesthetic injectable treatments. Kristy is also an aesthetic laser trainer with Sciton a leading aesthetic and medical laser company to train doctors and other healthcare professionals.
